...just heard a supposed quote of the mayor of New York City, Michael Bloomberg, claiming that he has recently said, "There are more homeless in New York City now than there were in the Great Depression"...

...I tried to find published evidence of this quote and could not...but found lots of other undated quotations of other famous speakers concerning the homeless..including words spoken by Linda Lingle...
